1.0.4 Current
November 2026
- Fixed: in Acid Pro with Windows display scaling above 100 %, adding UnClip made the maximized Acid window shrink, as if it had minimized itself, and the Plug-In Chooser changed size. Acid now keeps its windows as they are, and the UnClip window shows complete, in proportion with the rest of Acid.
UnClip sounds and works the same as before, and projects saved in earlier versions keep their settings.
1.0.3
November 2026
- Fixed: in Sound Forge, UnClip was listed as a 32-bit plug-in and failed to load. It now shows up and loads as the 64-bit plug-in it is. If the 32-bit entry remains, click Refresh under Options > Preferences > VST Effects.
- Fixed: in Acid Pro with Windows display scaling above 100 %, only the top-left part of the UnClip window was visible. The whole window now shows, at its unscaled size.
UnClip sounds and works the same as before, and projects saved in earlier versions keep their settings.
1.0.2
November 2026
- Fixed: a single invalid audio sample, for example from another plugin earlier in the chain, passed through UnClip to the next plugin, even with UnClip bypassed. Some plugins then output broken audio, usually heard as silence, until the project was reloaded. UnClip now ignores invalid input and carries on normally.
UnClip sounds and works the same as before, and projects saved in earlier versions keep their settings.
1.0.1
October 2026
- Windows: UnClip no longer needs the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable installed on your computer.
- macOS: the installer installs to your startup disk only, and no longer lists other drives and disk images.
- The included third-party notices now cover all the third-party software UnClip is built with.
UnClip sounds and works the same as before, and projects saved in 1.0.0 keep their settings.
