Are the plugins really free?

Yes. All currently released Leit Audio plugins are free to download and use. There are no trial periods, subscriptions or in-plugin activation. You just need a free Leit Audio account to download them.

Can I use them commercially?

Yes. Use them on any release, paid or free. See the License page for the full terms.

The plugin doesn’t show in my DAW.

Run a full plugin re-scan, and restart your DAW if it caches its plugin list. Check the file is in the right folder — on macOS that’s /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 for VST3 and /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components for AU.

Will you keep updating them?

They’re maintained on a non-commercial basis, so there’s no fixed schedule. Updates are maintained as needed, with priority on compatibility, stability, and meaningful improvements.
