OffFizzer is a free plugin that tames harsh, sizzling treble on distorted guitar, whether it comes from a miked amp or an amp sim. Instead of cutting highs all the time, it turns down problem frequencies only when they stick out. Three dials and a DELTA switch make it easy to hear exactly what you’re taking away.

Tame the fizz without going dull.
Turn up FIZZ OFF to find and reduce the narrow, sizzling resonances that stick out in your guitar’s treble. It follows them as the track plays.
Use SOFTEN to gently bring down overly bright treble. Then move TILT toward LOW or HIGH to shift where both processing controls do their work.
Flip DELTA to hear only what OffFizzer is removing. The FIZZ REDUCTION display shows how much is being taken away across the treble as the track plays.
